About Ella's Tales
Ella is a chipper, rambunctious, and eccentric 7-year-old brainiac stuck in an ordinary school and neighborhood who just can’t seem to be understood by the folks around her. Luckily, she has her neurotic but equally gifted best (and only) friend, Judy, and her not-so-grounded mom, Fran, to share her misadventures with, no matter how bizarre or mundane.
About the creator
I'm a first-time cartoonist from Houston. I always loved cartoons (whether it be comics or animation), but it wasn't until I was 16 that I began to see myself creating them, and it wasn't until even longer that I actually began creating them. Now I'm 24 and have my first webcomic! :D My main cartooning influences include SpongeBob SquarePants, Schoolhouse Rock, Rocko's Modern Life, the works of Bob Clampett (my art hero), Tex Avery, Rod Scribner, Warren Foster, Mr. Lawrence, C.H. Greenblatt, and Aaron Springer, Bill Watterson's Calvin and Hobbes, Sam Henderson's Scene But Not Heard, and Mark Tatulli's run of Heart of the City. If I were to list all the different artists and works that influenced me, this bio would get real long real fast! You can contact me at my email: benjnavarro28@gmail.com.
